Chic Chicago - Couture Treasures from the Chicago History Museum
Tim Long, curator, will provide a private tour of this season’s biggest fashion exhibit, showcasing the most prominent couturiers of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and how they were worn in Chicago. Mr. Long will discuss the gowns’ (circa 1861-2004) connections to the city and their importance in costume history.
